RRSSB RETURNS

RRSSB had first exposure to the battlefield in the year 2007 when it started to established with only 48 members in 2006. Within one year the band could achieve the unexpected result in the State level marching band competition. They achieved 4th in the competition which others 5 bands competing were veteran bands. Due to the financial problem this has set them unable to participate the following year competition which held outside Miri. This band’s members enthusiasm and insisting on perfection efforts have proposed again to the management to allowed them to participate the coming competition again in May this year. Budget has been collected through sponsors, schools and parents. Though, lots of obstacle few times fall the band’s decision, somehow, never distort the band to give up. Finally in 2009, the band has stand up and pour in a lot of effort and spirit in the band to be able to compete in the field. A tremendous improvement and quality in terms of sounds and drills have been enriched. Till then, the troops are ready and stay fit to put up a best show in the coming state level competition.
