Behind the Scenes - Trinity Advanced Band Ensemble Music

This was during the Advanced Recital of RRSSB this afternoon. RRSSB was performing the other side of the room while these three 'supporters' support us on the other side.

Performances

Please take note for the performances on this coming Friday and Saturday (21st and 22nd May).

The performers for this event will be chosen according to the same performers on last Sunday's event. Section leaders, please confirm with Gee Perng on additional slotting or absentees.

ALL members please stay back after Friday's exam. Practice will be going on for the coming performances. There will be some important announcements to make too.

Please make an effort to attend this practice. Thank you.

Uniform

Dear members, especially juniors:

Please be reminded that:
1. NEVER wash your sash. Only dry cleaning.
2. NEVER wash your top uniform with your buttons unbuttoned.
3. NEVER spin your uniform in a washing machine. ONLY hand wash.

Any problem on cleaning, seek help from your section leaders and any of the committees.

Training Camp

Please be informed that there will be a training camp with Miss Kai Yee and Team. The details will be as follows:

Friday (23rd April) - 1330hrs to 1700hrs
Saturday (24th April) - 0800 hrs to 1700hrs (A 90-minute interval of lunch break starting at 12 noon)
Sunday (25th April) - 0800hrs to 1200hrs

Please arrange your schedule for this camp. Other events and performances stated in the right columns are assumed to be informed. Absent letters should be signed by your parent and given to Gan Lin before/after the camp.

I Wish ......

A new forum game has been introduced by our Forum Game Master: Sir Simon Song!

It's called Corrupt the Wish.

Rules for the game:

1. Once a person corrupt your wish, dont get too desperate or furious. It is just a game.

2. Corrupt somebody's wish. Make sure it is related to the wish mentioned.

3. Begin your reply with "Wish Granted".

4. After the reply, add "But ...." to CORRUPT the wish.

5. Then, begin a new sentence with your own wish. 

Here are some examples from the game:

Player A: I wish that I wont get disconnected whenever I play Dota.

Player B: Wish granted. But you cant even online. I wish I can have straight As in my PMR.

Player C: Wish granted. But your UEC will fail in flying colours. I wish ...

And the game goes on and on. 

*Note: Please ruin the wish completely. Accept the corruption. It wont happen in reality. :)

RRSSB has the brand new look in their Band Room. Located at the top floor of Block C, our band room finally owns the whole C32!

Performance 100218

RRSSB Performed during the 5th Day of Chinese New Year 2010. The venue of the performance was Datuk Ling Chiong Ho's residence @ Luak Bay, Miri. The repertoires for the performance mentioned was 凤阳花鼓, Asian Selection, Historia de Amor, Rasa Medley, How Deep is Your Love and Apple Pie March.

RRSS 2nd Sports Meet 2010

The 2nd Inter House Sports Meet of Riam Road Secondary School was held on Friday, 29th and Saturday, 30th. The Bruins' Brass marched and led the contingents on the field.
